Featured Artist: Boo Rossini

Recently, Nino sat down with CTE's own Boo Rossini to chop it up about his upcoming project "Coke-a-Cola Classic."  Boo gives us some further insight into his CTE affilliation and other projects beside the mixtape he has slated to come out.

NinosCorner: For those who are new to Boo Rossini, give our viewers a little insight into the real you.

Boo Rossini: I’m a Mississippi native first and foremost, and we’re often overlooked when it comes to Rap or Hip-Hop music, so the odds have been against me since day 1. But I continue to carry the state on my back, and they’re with me 100%. With that being said, I prefer the rest to be heard through the music.

NinosCorner: So when did you first start rapping?

Boo Rossini: I first started rapping as a teen, spitting in my neighborhood, at school and participating in local talent shows.

NinosCorner: Growing up, what kind of music and artists did you listen to?

Boo Rossini: When I was child my mom and dad often played Soul music and R&B. As far as rap music goes, I grew up on NWA, Snoop, Ball and MJG, The Geto Boyz, UGK, No Limit, Cash Money, and whoever else was making noise back then.

NinosCorner: How did you link up with Jeezy to become a part of CTE?

Boo Rossini: Me and Jeezy go way back before the rap shit. But I had a situation over at J Records that wasn’t progressing, so he told me to come CTE whenever I took care of business with that.

NinosCorner: Tell us more about your new mixtape, “Coka A Cola Classic” and when/where can people find it?

Boo Rossini: “Coke A Cola Classic” is exactly what it is. Once you hear it, and see the visuals that I have, you’ll understand why I chose the double meaning name “Coke-A-Cola”. I have some crazy features, ranging from Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Billy Blue, to Bobby Valentino. I plan to drop online and in the streets next month. It will be available on usda2day.com, livemixtapes.com, datpiff.com, and ahost of other outlets.

NinosCorner: Who is(are) your favorite artist(s) and why?

Boo Rossini: My favorite artists are those who actually represent who they are and what they truly believe in. Whether you’re a street nigga or a geek nigga, I respect authenticity.

NinosCorner: Who are you feeling in the game right now?

Boo Rossini: I think there’s a lot of talent out there right now. But I’m feeling Future, 2 Chainz, Gotti, and YMCMB to name a few.

NinosCorner: Besides the new mixtape, what can fans be looking out for from Boo Rossini?

Boo Rossini: We’re also working on the CTE compilation album, so be on the lookout for that some time this year.

NinosCorner: Where can people reach you and learn more about Boo Rossini?

Boo Rossini: I can be reached on Twitter at @CTEBOOROSSINI and Facebook at facebook.com/BooRossini.

NinosCorner: Thanks for your time. Do you have any last comments for the fans reading this interview?

Boo Rossini: You already know, thanks for having me. To my fans, I appreciate all the love and support.
